As frightening as it is to be a women in these current times,
I have tried to capture the feminine essence and struggle with my work.
Conceptually, I have created an interactive piece that allows people to
partake in what I have called "Pocket Your Worry".

"My Pair of Jeans" (2022)
A piece inspired from a project relating to genetics. Using my own poetry in ink and a play on the word genes/jeans, with a pair stitched together and suspended with string in the middle of a frame.
Genderless Nipples & "Censornip"
Collecting research and creating a zine about the sexualisation of women's nipples, relating to how social media platforms only censor a man's despite neither being a sexual organ.

"Lockdown"
A depiction of lockdown painted during the 2020 COVID-19 quarantine, using the image of Venus de Milo to represent the feeling of being still much like a statue during these times. I originally used the bold, plain dark blue background (A3) which can symbolise the great use of technology during this. I was then comissioned by a friend of a neighbour to use the same statue art with a more vibrant background and much more large scale (A2).
